Common Questions

Are these games completely free?
Yes — all games on Plix.Tools are 100% free with no in-app purchases, no premium tiers and no intrusive ads inside the game interface itself.
Do I need to create an account to play?
No account, email or registration of any kind is required. Open any game and start playing instantly — your best scores are saved locally in your browser.
Do the games work on mobile and tablet?
Yes, all games are fully responsive. 2048 and Minesweeper support touch swipe and tap. Wordle has a full on-screen keyboard that scales to any screen. Reaction Time works with a single tap anywhere on the coloured box.
Will you add more games?
Yes — we add new games regularly. If you have a suggestion for a game you'd like to see, use the Contact page to let us know. We prioritise games that are quick to play, skill-based and run entirely in the browser.

Pro Tip

Use the Reaction Time Test before and after a break to measure how much rest actually improves your reflexes. Most people are 20–40ms faster after a 10-minute break. Try Wordle with CRANE or SLATE as your first word — information theory shows these eliminate the most possible words on average.

Did You Know?

3B+
Mobile Gamers Worldwide
Over 3 billion people play games on mobile devices. The fastest-growing segment is casual browser games — short sessions that require no download. The average casual gaming session lasts just 7 minutes.
2M
Wordle's Peak Daily Players
Wordle grew from 90 players in November 2021 to over 2 million daily players by January 2022 — entirely through organic social sharing with no advertising. It was acquired by the New York Times for a reported seven-figure sum.
7 min
Ideal Break Length for Focus
Research shows that short breaks of 5–15 minutes with a mentally engaging but low-stress activity (like a puzzle game) restore focus more effectively than passive breaks. A quick game of 2048 or Minesweeper is a scientifically-backed productivity booster.

You May Also Ask

Is there a daily Wordle limit?
Unlike the original Wordle which gives one word per day, our version is unlimited — click New Game after any round to play again instantly with a new random word from our 500+ word pool.
Are scores saved between sessions?
The 2048 best score is saved in your browser's localStorage and persists between sessions. Wordle and Minesweeper scores are session-only. Reaction Time stats reset when you close or refresh the page.
Can I play offline?
Once a game page is loaded and cached by your browser, the game logic itself works offline. However, the initial page load requires an internet connection to fetch assets. Plix.Tools is a PWA, so modern browsers may cache pages automatically.

Common Mistakes

Guessing the same gray letters in Wordle
Gray means the letter is definitively not in the word. Re-using it wastes one of your 6 attempts with no new information.
Watch the keyboard — grayed-out keys tell you exactly which letters to avoid.
Moving the highest tile away from its corner in 2048
Once the highest tile leaves the corner, rebuilding the chain becomes nearly impossible and the board degrades rapidly into a losing position.
Pick two directions and make almost all moves in only those two directions.
Clicking before the screen turns green in Reaction Time
Anticipating the color change triggers a "Too Early" response which doesn't count and resets the test — it measures anticipation, not reaction time.
Relax, focus, and wait — the random 1.5–4.5s delay is specifically designed to prevent anticipation.
